About Steve -

Steve Holloway is a professional drummer and percussionist from Brooklyn, New York. He has been a featured soloist with the hit show Riverdance, playing over 2000 performances across America and Europe, and also on the long running Riverdance on Broadway at the Gershwin Theater in New York. Steve became involved in New York's Celtic music scene in the mid-90's, recording and touring with Seamus Egan, Solas, Natalie MacMaster, Donal Clancy, Bonnie Rideout, Cathie Ryan and many others. In 2003 he was a founding member of Sin é Rí-Ra at New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas, which is still running strong, and was featured with solo spots and feature numbers on the North American premier of Heartbeat of Home, a new show from the producers of Riverdance.

Steve is currently touring with the first national tour of the hit musical Come From Away, after being a regular freelancer on Broadway production at the Schoenfeld Theatre.  He has also worked with many pop and jazz luminaries including Jill Sobule, Eddie Harris, Mose Allison, David Liebman, Jimmy Bruno, Nelson Rangell, John Carlini, Vassar Clements, Judy Roberts, and Rare Silk.  He's appeared on CBS Early Morning, NPR's Morning Edition, Echoes and Mountain Stage, and on Ireland's RTE Late Late Show and TG4's Flosc.
